sebastopol

local flavor, global vision

Just 15 minutes west of Santa Rosa and 53 minutes from San Francisco you will find Sebastopol.

Sebastopol is a small town in Sonoma County once known mostly for its apples and plums, but today it is recognized as a destination for creativity, art, farm-to-table, artisans, wineries/ vineyards, and more!

Nearby, you will find Graton which lures visitors with its small-town charm. Graton was once considered a "little apple country town" but now boasts a culinary reputation featuring Underwood Bar and Bistro and is regularly voted as Sonoma County's Best Restaurant & Bar. Willow wood Market Café has become a local favorite for regulars and food-savvy travelers. It doubles as a general store and a local gather spot, what the Michelin Guide called "Good, down-home comfort food...dished up with genuine hospitality."

Joe Rodota Trail:

The Joe Rodota Regional Trail is an 8.5-mile paved, off-road trail linking downtown Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. This accessible trail runs parallel to Highway 12 and is a popular route for cyclists and pedestrians. Its rural sections offer views of farmland, the Laguna de Santa Rosa, and surrounding mountains. Views are especially beautiful in fall and spring. The trail is named after Joe Rodota, the first director of Sonoma County Regional Parks.
